The Blue PRO® process is patented and differs from other wastewater treatment processes by its mechanism of removal. Blue PRO® optimises adsorption rather than relying on coagulation filtration. Hydrous Ferric Oxide (HFO) coated sand which is continuously refreshed within the patented process is key to achieving an unusually high adsorptive capacity. The system operates without the need to store or use chemicals which are either an environmental or H&S hazard.

Blue PRO® is a filtration system that removes Phosphorus  from waste water to very low levels. Using adsorption, Blue PRO® can meet the most stringent permit levels for both Phosphorus and Mercury, and is also effective at BOD and TSS removal in tertiary filtration applications.

Blue Pro

Mercury reduction to < 1 ng/L Hg.

Mercury removal by the patented Blue PRO® system requires the addition of one chemical. The addition of approximately 8mg/L Fe from ferric sulphate removes within the filtration system Mercury from waste water to very low levels. Using adsorption, Blue PRO® can meet the most stringent permit levels for both Phosphorus and Mercury, and is also effective at BOD and TSS removal in tertiary filtration applications.
